Joseph DelVecchio – CEO
Joseph is a highly decorated 22-year Navy Nurse Corps Officer. He retired with a vast amount of military experience in Adult/Pediatric Critical Care, Trauma and Transport. He completed his Trauma internship at the Navy Trauma Training Center at USC/LAC Hospital and Critical Care Internship at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Additionally, Joseph completed training as a Flight Nurse at Joint Enroute Care, Ft. Rucker and Pediatric Neonatal Critical-Care Transport at UMBC/John Hopkins. As a civilian Joseph has earned degrees from Marymount University and Husson University, he has held Service Line Director positions in major Healthcare and Education corporations as Director of Neonatal Services, Director of Pediatric Services and Director of Pediatric and Neonatal Education.
Francis Edward Thomas – COO
Francis Thomas is SkyKare’ s Chief Operating Officer. He brings over 20 years of experience in the medical field. Francis has 16 years with US Government severing US Veterans and 5 years in the private sector as a case manager for emergent medical transport. Mr. Thomas holds a BS in Accounting and is a master in cost containment, highly knowledgeable / experienced in air medical transports, Mr. Thomas is no stranger to rolling up his sleeves, and meeting all operational objectives. Francis is a true problem solver and miracle creator; Francis Thomas will make it happen.
Dr. Jeffrey Bishop – Medical Director
Dr. Jeffrey M. Bishop is Board Certified in Family Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and Navy Flight Surgeon. He earned his degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1985. He spent 10 years in the United States Navy as one of the youngest Physician Assistants, which acted as a major steppingstone for his entry into Medical School. Dr. Bishop is a former owner and practicing physician at Western Communities Urgent Care. Dr. Bishop is currently running family Practice, the largest Primary Care of its time in Palm Beach. Dr. Bishop was also the Chief Medical Officer at Wellington Regional Medical Center and Served Board of Governors for WRMC. Dr. Bishop is one of the most qualified and respected professionals in the medical field.
